As much as I love Thanksgiving, I am not a fan of the traditional food. So I was excited to see that Vermont Brownie Company just came out with a new twist on a holiday favorite.
I had never tried, or even seen, pumpkin brownies until two weeks ago when my blogging sister-in-law made and brought some with her to D.C. And if these are as good as hers, or as good as all of their other brownies, they're sure to delight.
So, this holiday season, you can enjoy another slice of pie. I'll take a brownie, please.
Seriously. Paps, I'm having a couple boxes shipped to your house, so you can bring them with you in three weeks. We can have a belated celebration. I know I'll have lots to be thankful for.

Ha! I'm glad you liked mine. The brownie itself (that was eggless cause I didn't have more eggs) wasn't that great -- too chewy, but the pumpkin pie batter -- ah... that one I guarantee was good (with condensed milk! ;-).
Anyway, can you believe we forgot the cake pan with over half leftover brownies there? :-( So we didn't get to eat the rest. It probably ended up in the trash. :( :( :(
But I'll make more soon.
